Providing Clarity to Our Customers

We know that when it comes to Internet and TV services, there’s a lot of information and jargon being thrown around. It can make it confusing to know what you’re getting from your service, how it works, and how exactly we provide it.

We strive to be as clear as possible in all of our communications, so you know exactly what you’re getting. That’s why we’ve put together this page to answer many of your questions, and if you have any more, you can get in touch with us and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

If you’re experiencing a problem with your internet or TV, get in touch with us and let us know about it. Where possible, we’ll talk you through a fix over the phone, so that you can get back to normal as soon as possible. If needed, we’ll come out to you as soon as we can and carry out any necessary repairs.

FAQs

Which Internet Service is right for me?

Each service has its own pros and cons, from a quick and easy setup to more reliable connections and faster speeds. If you’d like to find out which service is best for you, give us a call.

Why is my Internet connection slower than expected?

There could be several reasons that you’re experiencing slower speeds than expected, such as:

  • You’re using more data than you accounted for in your plan
  • Network congestion during peak hours
  • Outdated equipment
  • Distance from the router is too great
How can I improve my Internet speed?

There are several steps you can take which may improve your speeds, such as:

  • Check if your plan meets your needs. If it doesn’t, you should consider an upgrade.
  • Restart your modem and router, as this can resolve temporary issues
  • If you’re experiencing slow speeds with a particular device such as a laptop, try a wired connection. Clearing the device’s cache and cookies could help too.
  • Where possible, try and relocate your router to a different area of the house to avoid interference and reduce distances between devices and the router.
Can I upgrade/downgrade my plan?

We always do everything we can to help our customers upgrade their plans so they can get even more out of their service, but there may not always be an upgrade available. To find out more about upgrading your plan, get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to explore your options with you.

Downgrades aren’t available until your current contract has expired.

Can I transfer my service to a new address?

Yes, subject to a site survey to ensure we can still provide the service.

What areas do you cover?

We provide internet and TV services all across the Highlands, covering much of Scotland including the Scottish Islands. We always want to do everything we can to ensure that you’re getting a good and reliable service with us, which is why in locations where we’re not able to deliver this, we won’t be able to provide a service.
