The Better Broadband Subsidy Scheme has been developed by the UK government.
It sets out to provide access to a subsidised broadband installation to homes and businesses that are unable to access a broadband service with a download speed of at least 2 Mb per second and will not benefit from the current phase of the Digital Scotland Superfast Broadband roll out.
You can check your broadband download speed over the BT Openreach network using the ADSL checker at www.dslchecker.bt.com. Broadband services may also be available from Virgin Media or other providers.
If you would like to find out more about the Better Broadband Subsidy Scheme we’ve setup a page will all the information, along with how to apply for a grant, which can be found here.
